Sammi Dawg, Dwayne Rose collab on new single

Dancehall artiste Sammi Dawg and singer Dwayne Rose have teamed up to create a hot new track titled 'Body Is Calling'.

A smooth melody paired perfectly with Rose's soulful voice and Dawg's skilful deejaying, the single, as the deejay describes it, shows appreciation for his lady.

"It's basically me telling my beautiful lady that she knows how to turn me on with that loving of hers," Sammi Dawg said.

Coming together to form the collaboration was an easy feat, as the two artistes, who have been friends since high school, instantly clicked with the track.

"After I got the beat from Iyon Lion, I played it for the first time and thought the beat was real sweet," said Dawg. "I needed a singer for the hook and that's how I got in touch with my brother Dwayne Rose, who is a great singer. Once I showed him the project, he dealt with it right away and we got the track out in no time."

The track has a crossover sound with an international vibe, playing to the artiste's desire to give the song a more "universal dancehall touch".

Rose said, "I think this song will bring a soothing vibe to a wide audience, who will appreciate the tone and content of the track. I would love to hear it being played globally."

The track has been featured on Internet radio stations, and is receiving spins in New York and Canada.

In the meantime, Sammi Dawg is gearing up to drop more new music as the year comes to an end, while preparing to release more videos and his new EP in 2019.
